Managing Growth: How Prioritising Metrics Fuels Business Success
Peter Drucker, a pioneer in modern management, famously stated, "What gets measured gets managed." While this quote emphasises the need for data-driven decision-making, Drucker's full statement includes a crucial warning: "... even when it's pointless to measure and manage it, and even if it harms the purpose of the organisation to do so." This wisdom underscores the importance of not just measuring for the sake of it but choosing metrics that drive meaningful progress for a business.
